Description
This screenshot shows a contact record for a company in the database.

Looking at the main record for Sortec Software Development, the left side shows the company structure in the following order:

  • Group
  • Company
  • Location/Site
  • Contact

Selecting any part of this tree of information will show the relevant details in the right side of the form. In the example, a contact has been clicked, showing the person's name and contact details.  If a site or location is clicked, this changes to show the address details.

Near the bottom of the form, pages of relevant information are available. These pages are customisable in our CRM application, and in the example screenshot the client currently has 5 pages of information. As can be seen, the Documents page is selected which shows the documents that have been stored against the record using our Document Tracker system. This system provides the ability to save documents into the database for later retrieval. Images can also be directly stored from a scanner if available. These documents can be 'checked out' by users if they are to be edited, or opened in Read Only mode for viewing.

The system keeps track of which users are currently working on documents to ensure conflicts don't occur.
