| Our client has recently expanded operations into Portugal and Spain to sell the products they manufacture in the UK, and required a system to help financially manage the transfer of products and subsequent sales overseas. The system developed integrates with the central order book management system in the UK, and contains the following features: - Full diary based team planning for fitting products.
- Sales analysis reporting system.
- Detailed financial control for tracking multiple payment receipts and deposits.
- Job costing and analysis.
A further phase in the development cycle will provide a detailed sales commission system to help manage the complex business rules in awarding commission to salespersons. The software had been designed to operate via a Citrix server, allowing worldwide access to the application, providing a rich user interface, yet allowing the application to be maintained locally. The development went live in January 2004. |
