| This project involved developing a system to assist a logistics company to manage their warehouse stock held for other clients. The stocks held are charged on a weekly holding fee basis together with a one-off handling fee. The system maintains a full inventory of the items with relevant batch and location information. Management reports can be generated to summarise charging information to generate invoices. The system also has a live web portal to allow clients to log into the system and check the levels and locations of various stock items that are being held. Through this portal, clients can also register stock pick-ups they require and propose drop-offs. This allows clients to effectively manage their stock off-site.
