| This system is designed to assist a client in workflow management in the ATM Installation industry. The client installs and replaces ATM machines nationwide, and required a system to monitor and manage the workflow. The installation of each ATM can consist of a group of main activities, each with several sub activities. These need to be completed by the appropriate people according to a schedule to ensure that an installation goes ahead successfully. The system allows to user to create a project and activity structure, indicating timescales at each stage. This project can then be applied to any number of sites, with the system maintaining scheduling and completion information for each of the individual activities. A route allocation facility allows the user to assign physical installation duties to a fleet of vehicles and produce installation diaries for each vehicle. If any activities are overdue, they are immediately flagged to the user allowing our client to maintain control of projects regardless of the complexity. The system also has the flexibility to move ahead of the schedule where possible. A stock sub-system allows stock items to be allocated to a job and booked out using handheld wireless laser scanners. The stock system also pre-allocates machines to specific jobs after they are received into stock - again using barcodes. Finally the billing system provides the facility to generate accurate billing reports for each client, with the costings built up of standard pre-agreed charges combined with additional charges if incurred. |
