This ability of course depends on the other software writers openness in exposing the data linking capabilities of their applications, but assuming they possess this ability, then we can usually use this to our advantage.

We have linked into applications such as Sage Line 50 & Line 100 to post financial information, as well as workforce tracking systems such as Working Time Tracker or Capture-IT. With these particular systems, we were able to interrogate the applications on staff clocking-in and out times, process working time bonus information, then transfer additional payments into Sage Payroll on a weekly wage run.

In one project we also created a factory workflow management system that allows the operator to distribute jobs between shop floor machinery providing maximum efficiency by always ensuring the machinery is operating at capacity.

Our abilities also extend to the handling and processing of other data file types such as DXF files from drawing applications to assist in optical alignment quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
